Northstar Bank Surpasses $1 Billion in Total Assets
Milestone Achieved Thanks to Many
Northstar Bank recently achieved a significant milestone in the bank’s history by surpassing $1 billion in total assets as of September 30, 2024.

Northstar Bank opened its first branch in Bad Axe in February 2001 with 11 employees. Since opening, Northstar Bank has experienced tremendous growth due to support of its local communities and dedicated team members. As of October 2024, Northstar Bank employs 93 team members and is at an asset level of over $1 billion. It is proud to be rated 5-Stars, a Superior Rating by BauerFinancial, Inc., for being one of the strongest financial institutions in the nation.

Reaching this significant milestone follows opening their new branch in Ann Arbor that took place in July. It will continue to grow within existing and new markets by providing banking solutions, flexibility and service to help customers reach their financial goals. Last spring, Northstar Bank’s digital banking platforms were upgraded for customers who prefer to do their banking digitally via mobile and online banking instead of in-person. Northstar Bank continues to look for growth and expansion of its footprint to better serve existing customers and potential customers.
